Perth foodies can now enjoy fresh fruit juices, signature smoothies, healthy lunches and delicious evening meals with the third of Perth’s popular coastal ‘Fig’ cafés opening its doors late last month. Located on the beachfront at Stockland’s recently completed Islands development at South Beach, The Pickled Fig is the latest offering from Greer and Lorna Marns.
The sisters describe the new café as a cross between Waterman Bay’s Wild Fig and Swanbourne’s Naked Fig, but with its own relaxed style and personality.
“When we discovered the potential location for our next café had a spectacular ocean outlook and views back to Fremantle, we knew it was our perfect setting,” Lorna said.
“Both the Wild Fig and Naked Fig overlook stunning beachfront, so it made complete sense for Islands to be home to our third café.
Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with the exception of Monday evenings, The Pickled Fig will offer homemade cakes prepared by the Fig’s pastry chef, in addition to its own blend of coffee.
